Student of the Month: Helen
We love our students! They inspire us, they challenge us, they make us laugh and smile. But most importantly, they are each wonderful, unique individuals getting ready to go out into the world and make amazing things happen! That’s why we are highlighting one of our amazing students every month.
Meet this month’s featured student: Helen
Helen began violin lessons with Ms Nicole in the summer of 2019 and how we have loved watching her grow into a fine young musician! She has become skilled at reading new music and has shown wonderful musicianship in ensemble settings. She’s always eager and excited to explore new music. When not playing her violin, this dedicated equestrian can also be found horseback riding!
Q: What do you enjoy most about playing music?
A: I love the sound and I have been watching covers of songs and famous violinists which has been inspiring.
Q: Do you have a favorite musical memory?
A: Getting to play Disney songs.
Q: What is your favorite song to play?
A: Minuet in G by Beethoven
Q: What is a song you would like to learn to play?
A: Pirates of the Caribbean.
Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?
A: A famous horse rider or violinist.
Q: What is your favorite color?
A: Lavender purple.
Q: What animal would you be, if you were not a human?
A: Horse!
Q: If you could have any superpower what would it be?
A: Teleportation or being able to read peoples’ minds.
