Burton Boys’ Book Drive
The Burton Family and their sons Deskin & Chayton have been part of The Harmony Garden and our Kindermusik family since 2014.
Every year, the Burtons collect new children's books to donate to families with a baby in the NICU at Maria Fareri Children's hospital. The book drive is done in honor of Deskin and in remembrance of his twin brother, Jake, who were born at only 24 weeks gestation. While Deskin was in the NICU, one of the biggest ways his parents were able to bond with him was by reading stories to him.
The family also has an Amazon wishlist you can easily shop from here.
Please share and donate if you are able. Books must be new so as to prevent unwanted germs from entering the NICU. Please bring books to our front office; if no one is there, you can leave them on the window ledge and we will take care of them. All items must be received by December 15th.
