Sion teaches Cello

A recent graduate of SUNY New Paltz, Sion is a passionate musician who is always looking for new ways to experience the multifaceted aspects of music. Sion began his music journey on the piano at age 5, and discovered the cello when he began to play for middle school orchestra.

He loves to compose music for many different styles and instruments and is an international prize winner for his compositions. Sion has performed numerous concerts in the Hudson Valley providing audiences the opportunity to listen to classical music, jazz, and music from different cultures worldwide.

Sion has found a love for sharing his personal discoveries about what music truly means to him through teaching. Sion’s philosophy in teaching is to achieve the most relaxation before, during, and after working with an instrument to get the most enjoyment and satisfaction out of each lesson. With over a decade of experience in music from all over the world, Sion is always prepared to give his students the chance to explore the wonders that the music world has to offer.
