Student of the Month: Tim

We love our students! They inspire us, they challenge us, they make us laugh and smile. But most importantly, they are each wonderful, unique individuals getting ready to go out into the world and make amazing things happen! That’s why we are highlighting one of our amazing students every month.

Meet this month’s featured student: Tim!

Tim has been part of The Harmony Garden family since he was just a baby in Kindermusik. To say it has been a joy to watch him grow as a musician and fun-loving individual is an understatement. He always has a positive and goofy attitude, and his online lessons during covid have been made even more delightful by his cat’s regular visits when he plays! Now learning third position on the violin, the sky is the limit for this future all-star of the stage and ball field!

Q: What do you enjoy most about playing music?

A: I like the differences between the notes and how they sound to make a song.

Q: Do you have a favorite musical memory?

A: There was this time we went to Disney and there was a ride and after it there were music pads you could jump on to make music.

Q: What is your favorite song to play?

A: Lego Ninjago Overture

Q: What is a song you would like to learn to play?

A: Anything in the third position or fiddle music.

Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?

A: A baseball player- short stop, pitcher or second base.

Q: What is your favorite color?

A: Purple or red.

Q: What animal would you be, if you were not a human?

A: telekinesis

Q: If you could have any superpower what would it be?

A: Any type of cat- tiger, cheetah, panther stuff like that.
