Student of the Month: Nora
We love our students! They inspire us, they challenge us, they make us laugh and smile. But most importantly, they are each wonderful, unique individuals getting ready to go out into the world and make amazing things happen! That’s why we are highlighting one of our amazing students every month.
This month's featured student is Nora!
Nora was already a budding musician when she began voice lessons in the fall of 2022. Immediately, she showed her eagerness to explore the world of song and how to express herself through singing. She’s not shy of the stage, singing unaccompanied solos and duets at recitals and concerts within just a few months of beginning lessons!
When asked about Nora, her teacher, Sandi, had only the best to say:
“Nora is the kindest, warmest soul, and is full of joy! She loves her family, dogs, and especially music! In addition to taking voice lessons, she also plays violin in her school's orchestra, is a member of the Stringendo orchestra in Dutchess County, and sings in her school choir. In her down time she even practices singing with her friends, helping them learn their music together! This year she was chosen for the select choir at her school, and she hopes to also be chosen for All-county choir for the second year in a row.
Nora knows how to put a smile on anyone's face and more often than not, her lesson time is full of laughter and hilarity! Nora has not found a genre of music that she didn't like and she does not shy away from a challenge. She has learned a wide variety of styles including Pop, Country, Broadway, Folk, and even a song in French!”
