Student of the Month: Abigail
We love our students! They inspire us, they challenge us, they make us laugh and smile. But most importantly, they are each wonderful, unique individuals getting ready to go out into the world and make amazing things happen! That’s why we are highlighting one of our amazing students every month.
Meet this month’s featured student: Abigail
Abigail began piano lessons in January, 2020. Pivoting to online lessons in the early days of the pandemic was no obstacle, however, and Abigail quickly soared. She quickly developed a love of classical and romantic-era works, and within a year of beginning piano began focusing strongly on composing and improvising. Most recently, she has been creating her own arrangements of favorite classical pieces and branching out to learn anime music. Her current teacher, Miss Susie, loves her enthusiasm for exploring the instrument and fearlessly trying new things, and particularly loved helping Abigail compose her first jazz piece! We’re all eager to see where this budding composer-pianist’s journey leads!
