If you play violin / cello / guitar / ukulele / are a singer:

Setting up for your virtual lesson is easy! Just set your phone or tablet on your music stand and you are good to go! If you’re using a laptop, set it on a surface so you can see the screen while playing and so that your teacher will be able to see you and your instrument.

If you play piano:

As long as you can see your screen, and your teacher can see you and your hands on the keys, you are good to go! We find the best way is to set your device next to the keyboard, facing down the keyboard. Prop up a phone or tablet, or set your laptop on a table next to you.
