Miguel Yannuzzi, our master of fretted strings, is one of our newest teachers at The Harmony Garden. As dad of two of our piano students, he’s actually been part of our studio family for several years, and we are thrilled to welcome him to our teaching team as well! A highly-accomplished musician, Miguel is truly devoted to each student’s growth. He brings a light-hearted, positive vibe to his teaching that makes hard work seem just fun.

Miguel Yannuzzi has been studying, teaching, performing, and recording music in the Hudson Valley and New York City for 25 years. A multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter, he began as a guitar student of Martin Celay, a solo jazz guitarist and platinum record-winning engineer. In 2003, Miguel was chosen for an ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers) singer songwriter showcase. He has taught guitar, piano, bass, ukulele, voice, harmonica, composition, and music theory to students of all ages and musical levels. Miguel brings a personalized approach to each student, developing methods that build a strong harmonic and rhythmic foundation for beginners, and enable experienced players to expand their knowledge and explore new and different styles of playing.
